SDG Impact Reporting: Understanding and Sharing Local SDG Impact

This workshop is designed to support participants as they find a deeper connection to the language of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for communicating local impact. Whether you are just starting to explore and communicate your impact or steeped in data, metrics and reporting, this workshop will help you bring SDG language to your measurement of community level impact. 

Plus – you will learn alongside other SDG and data curious workshop participants as we explore creative, meaningful and community focused impact reporting.

The workshop is hosted in partnership with SDG Cities and 10C Shared Space

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to: 

  • Communicate how your work aligns to the SDGs
  • Use tools and templates to describe your SDG impact 
  • Plan for how you will collect and interpret data for SDG reporting 
  • Plan for how you will communicate SDG impact with key audiences

Emily Hansen, SDG Cities Lead (Guelph)

Emily is a community planner and designer who leads the SDG Cities project at 10C. Over the past 2 years, Emily has worked to understand community needs and build responsive programs to support local organizations to connect with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in a meaningful way. With a background in both design and research, Emily brings skills in impact evaluation, data visualization, storytelling as well as a passion for shared learning and supporting local organizations to measure their impact and tell great stories.

Nicole Cupolo, Impact & Evaluation Assistant, SDG Cities

Nicole Cupolo is a recent graduate with a master’s in Rural Planning and Development from the University of Guelph with a passion to support equitable, diverse and just agri-food systems and communities. Nicole brings valuable experience working in farming, academic and government sectors.
